Walk of Fame

Tony Ferrer A.K.A. X44 is a true Filipino Cult Icon during his time.  He is an 8th dan blackbelter who has accomplished 155 movies that include Asian and Hollywod films namely: The Vengeance of Fu Manchu (1967) with Christopher Lee, Cosa Nostra Asia (1974) with Chris Mitchum, Blind Rage (1978) with Fred Williamson, and Cover Girl Models (1975) with Pat Anderson for New World Pictures.

He turned 80 this year and received this special gift-

We are so happy that our father has been given such a worthy honor to be included in this year’s roster of Walk of Fame awardees.

 We are eternally grateful to Kuya Germs who is responsible for making the Walk of Fame possible so that the  stars may forever be remembered for their contribution in the entertainment industry.

My sister Mutya and I actually started our showbiz careers via Kuya Germs’ That’s Entertainment and GMA Supershow so the event also served as a reunion for us three.

My dad was so excited that he walked too fast to see his star that we couldn’t  take a proper selfie !

We couldn’t take a proper group shot either because of all the commotion and excitement of everyone but I just had to acknowledge the presence of my brother in law, Jinggoy Buensuceso, my Uncle Rico and Auntie Minia Laxa and family friend Amay Bisaya for celebrating such a special event in our dad’s life.

After a while, we had to allow him to take center stage and  enjoy his ‘moment’
