mommy talk faith

Being a wife and mother of 5 children can be very challenging at times.  Everybody comes to me for advise, help with homework, needs, etc.  I do try my very best to give my all to my family but then there are also responsibilities I need to attend to outside my home like our businesses and my career.

I do get tired too but I realize that this one thing sustains me- Alone Time.  This means time to be by myself.  And when I am intentional that this time alone is consumed by first communing with my Maker, I am able to rest and get recharged.

As people, we are limited with our resources but when we turn to one who never runs dry, we have a lot to draw from and we can pour out to others abundantly.

So let this also inspire you: “The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” – Isaiah 58:11

    Such an inspiring message Maricel.
Thank you for that Strength of wisdom! I actually love doing that quite times too myself. As for me is praying deeply upon waking up in the morning or before I start my busy day. I love talking to God with a greatful heart Whether I’ll have heavy or light days. Reading Bible before I sleep at night helps me to have a peaceful mind and good rest too. Though sometimes I forget to do it all, I still find myself a quite times even when I’m driving or when I’m having coffee alone.
I pray, I sing & listen praised & worship. It encourages me,
helps me relaxed and gives me better solutions. I also Send to Families & friends some passages in the Bible that I think it’ll brighten up their day. I’m sure other moms have their own ways in finding important quite times too. Thank you for sharing yours maricel. I admire your Strength & Calmness. It’s true that without deep Faith relationship in God, we cannot receive the real strength of a mother or wife. God bless us mommies as we pour Joy & love to our families.
