My sister, Mutya and I embarked on this idea of making our daddy feel special on his 80th even though he hates making a fuss of such things.  We thought it would be a great idea to re-tell the world what kind of an amazing contribution he has made to the movie industry.  Thank God for our Uncle Rico Laxa, who helped make this dream happen.  I think Daddy was happy.

Here’s a glimpse of our father’s work:

We actually discovered quite a few things about our father that surprised us.  Here are fast facts about Tony Ferrer Agent X44 a.k.a the James Bond of Asia:

-an 8th dan Blackbelter

-accomplished 155 movies both locally and internationally.  Yes folks, he made it to Hollywood!

-was named best dressed man for 10 consecutive years and his suits were designed and made by his brother , Nick Romano

-his films were blockbuster hits from the 60’s to the late 70’s

-he has 10 suits on standby for his movies and they cannot be stained or wrinkled.  He is known for wearing all-white. Funny coz as an agent, it is so easy to sight him and make him a clear target.  But hey, that what sells!

-Agent X44 films are known for three C’s: Clothes, Cars and Chicks!  I mentioned the clothes already.  He’s also driven the coolest cars and kissed amazing women in his movies and most of them flown in from Hollywood! Haha!

Today, Tony Falcon lives a simple life away from the limelight but he still exudes that aura of a dashing hero.

I’m glad we got to relive his glory days even for a day.  It’s worth looking back to and surely one our children will cherish as being part of.

Here are some more references about Agent X44 as his works have also been studied by international movie reviewers:
